Since my last post, so much has happened in the world around us. If I am honest, the world feels less safe. As a first generation immigrant and refugee of war, I am concerned every time I leave my home. The black and white photo below is the view from my balcony. For me it represents a new day of possibilities giving me new purpose. Even in the darkness of life, there is always a ray of light. I refuse to let go of joy!
