Welcome to my online gallery! I am a self-taught artist currently residing in the Bay Area. I focus on the lyrical quality of line drawing and color washes. My artistic journey began with doodling in my youth, graduating to pen sketches and now working in mixed media (pen, watercolor and markers). Sketching allows me to quickly capture the place, mood, emotion and energy of that moment. The artistic process is my personal meditation, a space where I can solely focus on one singular thing. "Bao Linh" is my Chinese Vietnamese name given to me by my late father. This online gallery is dedicated in his memory, as he was my first and constant supporter who encouraged me to chase all my dreams.
